Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the branch of computer sciences that emphasizes the development of intelligent machines, thinking and working like humans. For example, speech recognition, problem-solving, learning, and planning, It is the endeavor to replicate or simulate human intelligence in machines.

Artificial intelligence is impacting the future of virtually every industry and every human being. Artificial intelligence has acted as the main driver of emerging technologies like big data, robotics, and IoT, and it will continue to act as a technological innovator for the foreseeable future.

There are 3 types of artificial intelligence (AI): narrow or weak AI, general or strong AI, and artificial superintelligence, Such a machine may not have humanity’s best interests at heart; it is not obvious that it would even care about human welfare at all. If superintelligent AI is possible, and if it is possible for a superintelligence’s goals to conflict with basic human values.

primary advantages of AI: AI drives down the time taken to perform a task. It enables multi-tasking and eases the workload for existing resources. AI enables the execution of hitherto complex tasks without significant cost outlays.

As the possible applications of AI continue to increase, so does the positive career potential for those with the skills needed to thrive in this industry. The World Economic Forum’s “The Future of Jobs 2018“ report predicts that there will be 58 million new jobs in artificial intelligence by 2022.

AI in existence today is known as Narrow AI or Weak AI  which focused on one single narrow task.

The basic objective of AI (also called heuristic programming, machine intelligence, or the simulation of cognitive behavior) is to enable computers to perform such intellectual tasks as decision making, problem-solving, perception, and understanding human communication.
